Penny has been passionate about movement from an early age. She began practicing yoga and teaching barre regularly in college and went on to get her 200 RYT through Yoga Harmony in Nashville. After relying on barre and yoga as her main forms of exercise for years, she began to feel like she lacked strength in her practice. After her first humbling reformer class at Simply Balanced she was sure she did. Penny saw the change in her own body within a month and realized how powerful Pilates was and how accessible it was to everyone. Needless to say, she wanted to share the benefits of Pilates with others. She completed her comprehensive Pilates certification through Balanced Body under David Gensheimer. She is stoked to share her passion of movement and mindfulness with all of her clients. When she is not teaching you can find her globetrotting or baking cookies.
